A clutch is a component of the drive train that engages and disengages the power transmission from the driving shaft to driven shaft. The clutch is located between the gearbox and the engine. During a gear change, disengaging is required and the clutch facilitates this disengagement. Clutches need periodic servicing and replacing. When it comes to clutch repairs and replacements, you can count on Rillito Automotive in Tucson, AZ 85705. We have engine experts who will ensure that all your truck or fleet clutch issues are addressed.
The differential is another component of your truck's drive train. The differential lets your truck make turns with ease (remember, the different wheels of your truck travel varying distances when turning). The differential should be serviced regularly. Your fleet of trucks requires periodic differential repairs and replacement. At Rillito Automotive, we offer differential repair, rebuild, or maintenance services for trucks.
A driveline is made up of all the parts of the powertrain (the main components that generate power and drive your truck), but excluding the transmission and engine. The driveline, which is located after the transmission, changes depending on whether the vehicle is rear-wheel, front-wheel, or four-wheel drive.
With time, moisture, pressure, heat and load cause gear oil to breakdown leading to lubrication failure and worn out gears. This will result in noisy engines and poor truck performance. To solve driveline problems, you need to have worn-out lubricant and engine parts replaced. To have this done by experts, call 520-623-5260 or visit Rillito Automotive today. We will ensure that you experience smoother gear shifting.
A truck's transmission adapts the output mechanical power from the engine to drive the wheels. The main purpose is to reduce the number of revolutions made by the crankshaft by use of interlocking gears. The common types of transmissions include manual transmission, automatic transmission, semi-automatic transmission, direct shift gearbox (DSG), TipTronic gearbox, and continuous variable transmission (CVT).
With time, a truck's transmission wears out and starts developing problems. Transmission problems are known to cause mechanical breakdowns. When this happens, you need to have the transmission repaired, rebuilt, or replaced. For everything from transmission rebuilding to transmission repair and transmission replacement, trust Rillito Automotive. Call us or visit us today.
What People Say About Us
Love these guys! They are so efficient as well as honest and trustworthy. Highly recommend!
Rillito is my go to mechanics shop. They KNOW what they're doing, and they love their work. More importantly, I love their work, customer service, and Saturday hours. They have money saving tips, they check out used cars I've considered buying and saved me from some disasters! They also do on-site alignments and U-haul rentals. Did I mention they're also a bunch of really nice guys, too?
I have used Rillito for several years and found them outstanding. I feel they are an honest and give a straight deal as to what you need or don't need done on your car. I have enough confidence in them that my entire family use them. It is nice to know they are not trying to take advantage of their customers especially when you may not know a lot about the inner working of your vehicles now a days.
This shop rocks, they have 8 lifts, the waiting area is comfortable, and they do only top quality work. When I called in about both my rear and sliding doors locking up on my Chevy Astro, Tony was very understanding and offered an honest quote. When I came to pick it up (same day I might add) I couldn't help but notice they were working on a bright yellow Lotus. Jason my tech went above and beyond making sure the workmanship made the operation buttery smooth. I will definitely be returning!
We were on a road trip back from California to Texas and ran something over that busted our gas tank and exhaust pipe. Not being from here, we had no idea what to do. A kind worker found us a hotel and drove us there. Such hospitality, made a terrible event a little better.
Tony services all of our vehicles and does a great job!

Tony is a great guy a mechanic you can trust! Prices that won?t make you go broke but still keep you on the road.
I have a 1978 Chevy Van. It had a vibration in the rear end. We thought It was the driveshaft. Took it in to have him pull it out and take a look. While they were looking they found a few other things that needed to be fixed. This was on a Friday. We got there at 11 am. By 330 they had everything done. I was expecting a large bill. I was shocked because he not only did a Fast job but a great one. And he even took a little off. More than a little. Now were ready to go back down to Guaymas Mexico and start our adventures of sailing around the Sea Of Cortez. Thanks Tony you Rock. Come down anytime and go sailing with us.
Rillito did an excellent job on my trucks alignment. I am very picky and hard to please and rarely let anyone work on my vehicles. This job stands out as one of the very few alignments that I am 100% happy with.
