Our Suspension services include:
Air suspension is used in place of conventional steel springs in heavy vehicle applications such as buses and trucks. It is broadly used on semi-trailers. The purpose of air suspension is to provide a smooth, constant ride quality. Modern electronically controlled systems almost always feature self-leveling along with raising and lowering functions. Although traditionally called air bags or air bellows, the correct term is air spring (although these terms are also used to describe just the rubber bellows element with its end plates). Trust the experts at Rillito Automotive when your truck's air bag suspension needs service, repair, or replacement. Call us at 520-623-5260 to schedule an appointment.
Suspension equalizers are an effective aftermarket innovation for rear leaf suspensions. The equalizers are designed to aid in the carrying ability of your truck. Equalizers have the following advantages: fuel economy, increased safety, increased power, reduced tire wear, improved steering, and improved braking.
Most equalizer kits include U-bolts, Equalizer Bars, Shackle Plates, Greasable Bolts, Rollers, Spring Washers, Washers, U-bolt Plates, and Nylon Locking Nuts. For all your suspension equalizer needs, visit or call Rillito Automotive in Tucson, AZ 85705 today.
Hangers are an effective way to enhance your truck's driving stability, handling, and suspension response. Hangers lower your truck's center of gravity, protecting it from rollovers in turns and corners and help you modify your truck's ground clearance. Whether you want to lower or raise your truck using hangers, call 520-623-5260 or visit Rillito Automotive today.
Shock absorbers are mechanical devices designed to smooth out shock impulses, thus reducing the effects of traveling over rough roads. Shocks convert kinetic energy that is formed when a vehicle travels over rough ground into another form of energy.
With shocks, you will be able to take your truck to places you never thought possible. Shocks work together with springs (they damp spring oscillations) to give your truck the best overall performance and the ability to carry the maximum load. For all your shock servicing, shock repairs and shock replacement needs, call or visit Rillito Automotive today.
Torque Arms & Walking Beams
A torque arm is a metal arm attached between a drive axle and the vehicle's frame. Torque arms prevent axle rotation in hub motors. It prevents the wheels from trying to rotate the axle relative to the vehicle's frame under acceleration (or in the opposite direction during braking).
A walking beam is an oscillating lever that pivots on a central axis and uses internal cam technology to transmit linear stroke in two directions (produces a reciprocating or reversible motion).
For all your torque arm and walking beam servicing needs, visit Rillito Automotive in Tucson, AZ 85705.

What People Say About Us
Love these guys! They are so efficient as well as honest and trustworthy. Highly recommend!
Rillito is my go to mechanics shop. They KNOW what they're doing, and they love their work. More importantly, I love their work, customer service, and Saturday hours. They have money saving tips, they check out used cars I've considered buying and saved me from some disasters! They also do on-site alignments and U-haul rentals. Did I mention they're also a bunch of really nice guys, too?
I have used Rillito for several years and found them outstanding. I feel they are an honest and give a straight deal as to what you need or don't need done on your car. I have enough confidence in them that my entire family use them. It is nice to know they are not trying to take advantage of their customers especially when you may not know a lot about the inner working of your vehicles now a days.
This shop rocks, they have 8 lifts, the waiting area is comfortable, and they do only top quality work. When I called in about both my rear and sliding doors locking up on my Chevy Astro, Tony was very understanding and offered an honest quote. When I came to pick it up (same day I might add) I couldn't help but notice they were working on a bright yellow Lotus. Jason my tech went above and beyond making sure the workmanship made the operation buttery smooth. I will definitely be returning!
We were on a road trip back from California to Texas and ran something over that busted our gas tank and exhaust pipe. Not being from here, we had no idea what to do. A kind worker found us a hotel and drove us there. Such hospitality, made a terrible event a little better.
Tony services all of our vehicles and does a great job!

Tony is a great guy a mechanic you can trust! Prices that won?t make you go broke but still keep you on the road.
I have a 1978 Chevy Van. It had a vibration in the rear end. We thought It was the driveshaft. Took it in to have him pull it out and take a look. While they were looking they found a few other things that needed to be fixed. This was on a Friday. We got there at 11 am. By 330 they had everything done. I was expecting a large bill. I was shocked because he not only did a Fast job but a great one. And he even took a little off. More than a little. Now were ready to go back down to Guaymas Mexico and start our adventures of sailing around the Sea Of Cortez. Thanks Tony you Rock. Come down anytime and go sailing with us.
Rillito did an excellent job on my trucks alignment. I am very picky and hard to please and rarely let anyone work on my vehicles. This job stands out as one of the very few alignments that I am 100% happy with.
